eDUCATION IS WHAT PIE MIDLAND IS ALL ABOUT

Partners In Education is a joint initiative with the Midland Chamber of Commerce, the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Midland Independent School District and the Midland Education Foundation. Founding organizations provide the administrative and financial support to recruit and educate new Community Partners, facilitate donations, connect Community Partners with volunteer and mentoring opportunities and assess Community Partner needs. Our valued Community Partners are the reason PIE was created and these organizations do their best to facilitate the Partner/recipient relationship.

Founding Organizations for Partners In Education Midland

"The Partners In Education program has always been a very important part of MISD, but our renewed focus is really going to drive us forward in building even better relationships with our community leaders and identifying new partners who care so much for our children. As the superintendent of MISD, I personally thank all those who have and who will step up for our students. This is what makes living in Midland so special.." ~ Dr. Ryder Warren, Superintendent, Midland ISD

"On behalf of Education Foundation, I applaud the business community of Midland for their support and engagement in our schools. It is not by accident that our motto is, Great Schools are Everyone's Business. Thank you and God Bless Midland, Texas.” ~ Jami Owen, Director Midland ISD Education Foundation & Community Programs

"The recent legislative session had a tremendous impact on the already challenging budgets of our schools. The Midland Chamber of Commerce sees the value of a quality education and its impact on our economy. That is the impetus behind this partnership. Our Chamber wants to help bridge the gap for our schools, helping them to continue providing a great education in order to sustain and grow Midland’s world class business climate!" ~ Bobby Burns, President/CEO, Midland Chamber of Commerce

"The Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has long believed that education is the cornerstone of economic development. Partners in Education is a great program that we whole-heartedly support. Our city needs it. Our teachers need it, and our children need it!" ~ Rachel Stone, President/CEO, Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
